Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver to join our logistics team, making up to 15 palletised deliveries per day local to Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage multiple hauls effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for multiple local deliveries, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order.

• Load and unload goods securely, particularly when dealing with palletised deliveries.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.

• Experience of tail lift preferred.

• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably in a multi-drop role.

• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently on multiple local routes.

• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.

• Ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods.
